This is going to be a short post.
I’ve got very important things to do today.
Like change sheets, scrub bathrooms, and shop for shoes on the internet.
But I’m on the road to recovery after my jellybean binge.
(My sister has impeccable timing by the way – she sent me this article that pretty much says my sugar consumption is going to kill me. Thanks Sis.)
Just to be clear – I don’t exactly sit around shoving my face full of sweets all day. Unless it’s Easter and there seem to be loads of candy sitting around.
I do happen to believe in moderation, and usually I’m pretty good at practicing it.
Regardless, the arrival of her article in my inbox tells me my shift back to healthy is apropos.
Yes, I’m making changes.
Let’s not get crazy – I still plan on eating my cakes and cookies when the time comes.
But today – today give me a salad full of super foods.
And top it off with a light dressing.
I whisked together some white wine vinegar, a little spicy dijon mustard, olive oil and a shake or two of salt, garlic powder, cayenne pepper and crushed dried oregano.
You know your stuff. You don’t need a recipe. Just throw something together and drizzle it on.
Your body will thank you.
