This recipe is not really a recipe. It's just a cake from a box, pre-made frosting off the shelf, and candy plastered all over it. Simple - And totally awesome for making a little kid's eyes bug out in pure delight.
1 (2 layer) cake from a box (I used Duncan Hines Classic Yellow Cake)
1 can chocolate frosting (I used the Betty Crocker Rich and Creamy Chocolate with Hershey's Chocolate)
9 (yes, 9) original sized packs of Kit Kat bars
28 Hershey's Kisses, unwrapped
4-5 handfuls of M&M's
2 handfuls of semi-sweet chocolate chips
Bake the cake. Frost it. Smother it with candy: line the outside with Kit Kats (each one separated from the "brick", then, starting on the outside edge of the top, create a row of Hershey Kisses, then spread "path" of M&M's, then fill the center with chocolate chips.
